8	Beirut 1983 Hizballah terrorist group bombs U.S. embassy, 87 killed. Marine barracks destroyed by suicide bomber, 242 killed.
9	Egypt 1985 Terrorists hijack the cruise ship “Achille Lauro”; one American killed. Freed terrorists intercepted by U.S. jets and jailed in Italy.
10	TWA Hijacking 1985 Hijacked jet in Lebanon. Navy serviceman executed. Hostages released in prisoner exchange after 17 days.
