Almira School District is accepting applications for the following: 

SUBSTITUTES NEEDED !

  •  TEACHERS for grades K-12.  Must have a valid WA. State Teaching Certificate. Substitute pay is $78. per day.

  • Please remember:  Substitute work is NOT full time or part-time work.  This work is on an “on-call, as needed basis”. 

     All substitutes are required to be fingerprinted and have a criminal background check.  The cost to the applicant is approximately $59.

In order to apply for positions with the Almira School District certain requirements must be met.

 Certificated Positions

If you are certified to teach in Washington State we must have on file:

 A complete District certificated application

A letter of interest

A current resume’

Copies of all college transcripts (official transcripts will be required upon employment)

A copy of your Washington State Teaching Certificate

A college placement file (if current and up-to-date); OR four (4) recent professional recommendation letters
