1. You will be assigned a partner

2. Your team will use a map to see the area that you will be learning about. You will look at the area South of I90 including Spokane. The western boarder will be the Cascade Mountains. Identify the key cities in the area.

3. You will each need to choose five key historical cities. Eight of the cities have been chosen for you. The last two will need to be approved by the teacher.

1. Spokane

2. Pullman

3. Walla Walla

4. Tri-Cities

5. Goldendale

6. Toppenish

7. Yakima

8. Vantage

4. Complete the research checklist for each city.

5.With your partner use PowerPoint make a stand alone hyperlinked display that highlights each of these cities. You will need to include the historic details from your check list.

6. With your partner, use the information from your PowerPoint to make a 30 second digital commercial to advertise this area. This will be played on our area free cable channel.
