Text Box: Principal’s Message. . . . . . . . . . . Edward Fisk Text Box: We are fortunate to have an active and supportive Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The group formed just last year and has already raised thousands of dollars for the school. The money has been used to help sponsor Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth and support other school activities, like our enrichment program. The first major fun-raising activity of the year was the apple sale. It was a huge success. Now the PTO is raising money with a puppy raffle, “Paws for a Cause”. Students are selling raffle tickets for $1.00 each. The lucky winner will receive an AKC Golden Retriever or the value of the puppy, which is $600.00. Text Box: The goal is to raise $2000.00. Al money collected through ticket sales will go to the school because the puppy is being donated by a PTO member. The money will be used to bring an artist to our school through the Washington State Arts Council program, Artist in Residence. We will get to select the artist and the time he/she will be in the school. The raffle sales end this Thursday, February 10. If the students reach the goal of 2000 tickets sold, the top two sellers will get to decorate Mrs. Jordan and me with a pie in the fact. The drawing will be on Monday, February 14.
