Pre-School/Pre-K Parents 2011-12 School Year Information

**Please register all students BEFORE September 1st**

We are excited to register your child for Pre-School/Pre-K! Some of you have already been involved with our program at Coulee City School and are Pre-School veterans. Others are just entering into this fun journey for the first time.  Either way, we welcome you and your child to the first steps into your educational adventure!

During registration time, we ask that you fill out enrollment papers, medical forms, and a questionnaire that will help us serve your child better. If you have already filled out these forms for the 10-11 school year, we still ask that you look over your previous papers, and update as necessary.

Ms. Sandra Eagle is the coordinator of our Pre-School/Pre-K program and runs the program as the Family and Consumer Science teacher at the ACH High School. Additionally, we have high school students working in the classroom, under Ms. Eagle’s supervision.

Pre-School is for children who are at least 3 years old by September 1st, are not planning on attending Kindergarten during the 2012-13 school year and are fully potty trained. Pre-School will be on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Parents are responsible for bringing their child to school and picking them up after. The first day of school for Pre-School children is WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th.

Pre-K is for children who are at least 4 years old by September 1st, and are planning on attending Kindergarten during the 2012-13 school year, and are fully potty trained. Pre-K will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. The Coulee-Hartline district will provide transportation to school each morning for district students who live outside of town. Parents are responsible for making arrangements after school for transportation. The first day of school for Pre-K children is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th.

Please also note that immunization records must be on file in our office prior to the start of school. We will not be allowing any children without their appropriate paperwork on file attend classes.  Additionally, the district will not be providing any lunch for the students in Pre-School/Pre-K.

Thank you for coming in to register your child and we look forward to working with your family this upcoming school year!
