Text Box: Principal’s Message. . . . . . . . . . . Edward Fisk Text Box: This year all students in grades 3 through 8 will be required to take WASL tests. All tests will be given during the weeks of April 17 and 24. High School students take tests during the week of March 13, but grades 3-8 do not start any tests until April 17. We will send you more detailed schedules as we get closer to the test dates. Parents can help their children the best by making sure then get plenty of rest before test dates. Text Box: Personally, I am not a big fan of the WASL testing program. However, I am a realist, and I believe it is in the best interests of our students for them to do well on the tests. At 4th and 7th grades, we are required to provide extra help for those students who do not achieve the minimum scores on the WASL tests. We must provide the help each year until 4th graders take the 7th grade test and 7th graders take the 10th grade test. Text Box: ACH Foundation Car Raffle The student body at the Coulee City Building has been given a new challenge. For each ticket sold their name will be entered into a drawing for a pizza party with five of their friends For each two tickets sold they will get a prize off the prize table at our next assembly. The top seller (must sell at least 10 to qualify) will receive a cash prize of $50.00 Tickets can be checked out from Mrs. Jordan in the school office.
